B. W. Roberts grew up in Virginia, where she first began writing on her mother’s vintage typewriter as a child. She earned both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in English literature, but counts raising her three children as her finest accomplishment to date. She has taught both middle and high school English literature, and currently works in local schools, teaching elementary students Shakespeare. She calls the mountains of western North Carolina home, where she is often found baking up a storm of cookies regularly with her husband, three children and Albert at her side.
